A round tablet for its price!
Hello. I have two very simple BUT very important questions (European market/country): (1) Does Blackview Tab 8 fully supports exFat (support MicrosdXC, read & write files larger than 4GB to/from the additional bought external Microsd card), (2) I have read contradictory info regarding the maximum capacity of the additional bought external Microsd card. Is it max 128GB, or, max 512GB ?
Kindly only reply if you are 101% certain/sure of your answer.
Looking forward to your reply.
Many thanks & best regards,
George
Received Tab8 from Blackview online store. Came with a screen protector fitted. Red flag to me. Accessory list on Blackview
Protective Film seperately. Well mine had one fitted, there are pixel defects at bottom of screen and after setting up & resetting seven times & entering lock screen pin. Message Wrong PIN. So I reckon they sent me a device that had been returned to them by a previous owner. Screen protector already fitted & spare one in the box says it all. Returning it for a refund. Not a happy chappie. To say the least.
I received New Blackburn tab8. Started setup got to facial recognition tried 5times then went to set screen lock pin then confirm pin then on to next stage but no pin does not work. It keeps telling me wrong pin although it's the pin I set? D
I have tried unlocking it from other phone using find my done but no luck.sell a doesn't want to know nothing he can do. Anyone have any suggestions
I bought a Tab8 from blackview
I bought a Tab8 from blackview. When it arrived it had a screen protector already fitted. On their website under accessories, it states Protective Film Separately. There was a seperate screen film (protector) in the box, so that made me suspicious that the Tab they'd sent me had been a return. This was born out when I setup the device first time. Entered a PIN, finished the rest of the setup procedure. Then when the screen timed out and I powered on again, entered my pin and got Wrong Pin. It wasn't the wrong Pin as I use the same, Pin for my phone, laptop and a Samsung Tab. I reset the device seven times back to factory default and had the same problem everytime. I reset it once and didn't enter a Pin. The device worked with no Pin, but that meant I couldn't secure it, or use the face recognition, which requires a Pin before you can configure it. Also the screen had a pixel defect. I emailed them and told them I would return it for a refund. They emailed me and asked me to declare the value at $20usd.,so they wouldn't have to pay import duty in Hong Kong. I paid £151 including for a keyboard and had to pay £40.84p VAT & import cost. They not only tried to sell me a secondhand defective device, refused to reimburse me for return postage, they wanted me to make a false declaration on a customs form. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again. SO BEWARE & avoid Blackview if you value your money
If you want to use this tablet with Sky Map for astronomy, it doesn't work as the tablet doesn't have a magnetometer/ digital compass to line up the map to the night sky.
